I have read quite a bit of good things about copper lately. Copper is a naturally hygienic metal that slows down the growth of germs such as E-coli (the “burger bug”), MRSA (the hospital “superbug”) and legionella.

Walk-in Shower Room

This is interesting, and the first I have seen of this type of product. If you look closely, you can see that this is a complete shower kit that does not have a door so you can easily walk in and out of it. Quite nice! I found this at Wilson Dobson Bathroom Interiors (wdbathrooms.co.uk)

This inset bathtub (available at sheths.co.uk) is an interesting insight into how important the environment around a standard tub can be. As you can see, this tub itself, although nice, does not provide nearly the same dramatic effect by itself compared to when it is set into a nice hardwood floor and lit properly.

Black Stainless Steel Shower Panel

Check out this easy way to spruce up your bathroom shower. You can add a shower panel to an existing bathroom shower without spending any money on contractors or plumbers. I spent several hours today looking through various shower panel manufacturers websites, and this black stainless steel panel by SMR Bathrooms (smrbathrooms.co.uk) was my favorite.
